The 4th Forum of Cooperation between China and Central Asian Countries was held in Jinan (China)

From May 13 to 14, 2019, the Fourth China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held in the Chinese province of Shandong, in the city of Jinan (China) on the theme: “Building the Silk Road Economic Belt Together and Sharing New Results of Common Development”.

A delegation of the «Silk Road» International University of Tourism took part in this event, which was organized by the Chinese People’s Friendship Society for regional cooperation and non-governmental exchanges between the People's Republic of China and the five countries of Central Asia.
  The China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum is a multilateral international conference developed by the Chinese Society of Friendship with Foreign Countries in cooperation with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and interested organizations, as well as regional administrations based on friendly relations and regional cooperation.  As part of this forum, the opening ceremony, plenary meeting, as well as panel discussions: "Education and Youth", "Exchange between the Media", "The Economy of Jinan and Central Asia" and a reception were held.

    The meeting was attended by the heads of regional administrations and friendly organizations of China and the five countries of Central Asia, as well as experts on youth and education, the media, heads of industry and trade and economic cooperation in the framework of the project “One belt, one way”, representatives of the «Silk Road» International University of Tourism and others.
  Within the framework of the Forum, a dialogue on regional cooperation was held, and also took place under tourism communication forums, during which businessmen from all countries discussed interaction prospects. It was also noted that in Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to young people, and active work is being carried out to provide all-round support, ensure their professional orientation and employment, and stimulate their initiatives. It is noted that the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoev, relying on the youth, strongly encourages creative proposals in the preparation of highly qualified specialists. The Forum has a positive effect on strengthening mutual understanding and support between the peoples of China and the five countries of Central Asia, in order to increase the level of friendly cooperation between peoples and regions.
               During the Forum, a representative of the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism, Vice-Rector for Academic and Educational Affair, Professor Turaev B.Kh. made a presentation on the topic: "The strategic cooperation of Uzbekistan and China in the implementation of the economic belt" New Silk Road "”.
   As a result of the Forum, an agreement on exchange and cooperation between the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism and the Professional College of Tourism of Shandun Province, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the "Silk Road" International University of Tourism of Uzbekistan and Sanya University.
Throughout its activities, the University cooperates and develops partnerships with leading universities in the world. Many of them have signed agreements on the development of double degree programs, under which the partner universities send students to each other who wish to study.      

Thus, the most remarkable event was that a meeting with one of the leading leaders in the preparation of highly qualified specialists in the field of tourism with Guilin University of Tourism (China) led to the signing of an agreement in the field of educational program (Double diplomas) in the direction of "Hotel Management".
               The parties have adopted bilateral agreements on close cooperation and interaction on issues of interest to achieve common goals.
